Sexual harassment prevention

Legal duty for employers

As of 26 October 2024, all employers in the UK have a new legal duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment. Whether you have a comprehensive understanding of sexual harassment, or at the start of your journey, at TCC we will provide you with the expertise and support needed to create a safe, respectful, and compliant workplace.

We believe that change should be driven from the top down, while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement at every level of your workforce. Our training will educate all staff on recognising, preventing, and responding to sexual harassment.

Solution-driven, we prioritise:

1

Effective communication to address uncomfortable topics in a safe, supportive manner.

2

An inclusive approach which does not vilify or victimise any gender over another.

3

Practical advice and measurable outcomes.

We will work in partnership with you to deliver our training in a way that best suits the needs of your organisation.

1

In person

In our experience, in-person training is more effective than online training, especially for internal cultural change. It fosters a sense of community and shared purpose, crucial for collaboration and understanding. Face-to-face interaction enables dynamic communication, immediate feedback, and real-time problem-solving. This setting also better builds interpersonal relationships and trust, essential for a cohesive workplace culture. Additionally, in-person training offers a distraction-free environment, allowing participants to fully engage and absorb the material.

2

Online

We will deliver online training sessions where this is more practical for your organisation, for example where employees work remotely. Our online presentations include the same content as our in-person training and may be more appropriate for dispersed teams needing flexibility. Our in-person training can also be streamed online for hybrid sessions if required.

3

E-learning

Our e-learning modules offer a convenient way for your employers to undertake sexual harassment prevention training at their own pace. E-learning can be completed as separate modules, allowing for greater flexibility.

4

Annual subscription service

Our annual subscription service offers our specialist training at a discounted rate and helps to support your ongoing efforts. This option also ensures that your new employees will receive training without an added expense or administrative burden for you.
